1100th Entry
"When I was 16, 24 seems too far away."

Let's take a quick hop to when we were in our teens.

It's a phase of anxiety and hopes for the future. What will I be working as? How will I be when I start working? Will that be my dream job? Will I meet my soulmate too? Will I be able to buy branded stuff like those adults?

We thought so much and so far... and we tend to forget to cherish what we had back then.

What happened to those energetic youthful days? What happened to the dreams?

How many of us are now wondering... Am I happy in this job? Is this really what I want? Why is it so different from what I thought long time ago?

Are we satisfied?

Back then I used to dream that I will work as a vet. It was a childhood dream. But I ended up taking a diploma in IT. That's worlds apart.

And then I start to wonder... is this what I really want? Is this making me happy?

Sometimes, I regret taking the IT route. But if it was not for that course and my school mates, I wouldn't have met Daniel and a few old good friends.

Even though we cannot change our past, let's try to make the present a better day.

I am happy cos I have a loving husband, a sufficient good life (it can be way better if my online shops prosper), some silly pets, a few holiday trips per year (at least 2) and a few good old friends.

I do hope that you are happy.

Dan decided to make dinner for us! There's salmon (yummy!! I have a craving for it now!), bowls of salad, cream sauce for salmon dish, and Campbell soup.

Went over to Kun's place to deliver some stuff. Saw Leonard on the bus too. He has a new girlfriend and they just got attached a day earlier. Good for him!

Ah Ze seems happy to see us and Kun gave us a present on behalf of Angie. It's a solar powered swing with 2 rabbits on top. :) We dashed out of his place before it rained heavily.

Walked in the malls, window shopping and we found a very cute Eeyore plush too! =D It looks like a rabbit somehow... >.<

Went to the temple to pay respects to my mother in law.

Got on the bus back to Tampines to catch a movie that Dan has been hogging me for.

With English subs - 20th Century Boys

Longer Japanese Trailer - 20th Century Boys

It's an awesome movie, better than Death Note, in my opinion. There are some gore scenes and the sound effects are ... not what you usually would hear in the movies.

It's a thriller, a comedy, and it's full of suspense.

Kanna lives on to fight 'Friend'.

Lovely Land restocked on this Hello Kitty in Rabbit costume plush toy! The other day we were so disappointed to find that the rabbits were all sold out! And when we went back again a few days later... there were only 2 left!!! Must grab before it's gone again!!!!

I love all my rabbit plushies!!! Love Eeyore too!

I can't believe I spent more than 4 hours doing this entry. Ugh.
