1089th Entry - Worst Forums Ever ?
I was very darn pissed.
CozyCot is just like another ClubSnap where people just go sensitive over nothing. They just chose to see things from an emotional, sensitive side and tend to ignore the real facts of life. No, not ignore, they chose to chide at the person who said those words of reality.
I was explaining that a full time manicurist at her shop (at least 8-12 hours) who had just started this month has no time to start and maintain a website right now. And people were saying that I'm lashing out and giving lecture. Huh? In what way? I was stating facts! Facts = lecture ?
(Ok, the reply came when someone was asking me for my sis in law's website. So I replied with no offense to anyone - even stated that - and yet I get negative response saying that I'm lashing out at the one who asked for the website. I explained nicely and with details. I didn't even name anyone or said anything negative. Everything was in a neutral tone.)
And then there was one who deliberately said that there was no business in the shop whenever she walked by. She is just giving herself bad karma. She can tell me directly in private but typing those out in public is deliberately causing the public to think that that was a lousy shop, 'don't go there' .
And there's another who asked if such advertising is allowed when it's obvious that the others are doing the same! They were advertising in other threads too!
What's wrong with local forums anyway? Why can't people look at a sentence in another point of view? Why must it be seen that I was lashing when I did not?!
The person I replied to didn't even say anything of the sort that I was lashing, it's the other forum users who take the side of her and began lashing at me! Holy $@#%!!!!
You know, I can imagine the moderators there taking side of their Max Level frequent users. So there's no point in me talking to them. They'll listen to their 'max users' instead and tear down my post and, maybe my account!
At least I know now that, the local 2 big forums are just a pile of shit*** with lousy (most) members.
It's true that she should find ways and means to start and sustain the site, but then again, do you believe in internet images now (100%)? So many blogshops may have edited their images into chio chio ones! I am definitely not saying my sis in law would do that, plus she's PC- idiot and not IT savvy (that's also why it's hard for her to sustain the site). You got to see and feel it for yourself to know how it is, and not just solely depending on images.
Goodness.
How about those days when internet is not widely used? People still go down and try out their services for the first time and then decide one right?
Crap ass. And Dan's not around the whole weekend for me to whine to.
