And so, I begin to feel desperation.
I need to sell my handmade beads! One drawer is almost filled up with polymer clay beads!
I begin to advertise on ferniandfriends.blogspot.com , sgfreeclassifieds , and even on Facebook!!!! In Facebook, I advertised on 5 different countries, UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Philippines. In the last 3 hours or so, I received 5 clicks from US and 1 from Australia.
There's still no other replies with regards to the home party. =(
I know I sound impatient but who doesn't? If I'm not interested in running this business I won't give a damn if any one's buying. I just make and make and flood the whole house with beads. Ha.
I am giving those paid ads a try. I have been thinking about this for 2 months and I put it to action last week. I would like to see how things go using paid ads. If it's good, then I'll continue with it till I get a good popularity. I really hope it's the case.
Making the beads and selling them gives me a greater sense of satisfaction. Besides, it's not as if I'm selling them at a high price like other shops. And, my designs differ from their singular design, I have a variety of shapes, designs and patterns! I seriously believe they offer a greater aesthetic look in jewelry-making. I have no idea why they can't think out of the box! It's just too plain to see only round, oval shaped beads!!! Look at my designs!!! *screams*
I will continue to make new beads and hopefully, some day the site will get recognition and more people will start to buy.
