I was super frustrated and angry and whatever.
I woke at 630am just to see Dan off at the door when my father said he had placed my terrapins at the community centre nearby. WHAT THE??????
He just 'threw' them away without consulting me nor asking me! They are MY pets!!! How can he just decide on his own and get rid of them?
He's just so freaking selfish. Always acting on his own. And to think I was going to buy a big container/box for my terrapins since he spoiled the public tap outside!!!!!
You see, this is the problem, he created a bigger problem when he spoiled the public tap by turning if off super tight. We already told him before not to switch if off so tight as the rust was getting old and anything could happen. See? He did not listen.
And just one fine evening when Dan and I got home after window-shopping, we saw water gushing on the ground floor. We went upstairs just to find the tap running amok with water flowing out endlessly. Apparently, the tap was ruined. The leverage broke and the water could not be stopped.
He, being gung-ho wanted to fix things up but ended up making things worse. More water was flowing ruthlessly. It all ended 2 hours later when the people from town council came down.
And can you believe it? 2 hours? The water lost is tantamount to what we can use for 3 days. We = my family including the other neighbours in the same unit.
My terrapins could no longer get their change of water and he just took his own initiative and put them in the CC. All without consulting me.
For your info, I can still change the water in their tanks. It's just that it won't be so convenient as compared to the past. But it can still be done!
As I was soon waking up and coming to my senses, I asked him on the spot why did he do it without first asking me.
Guess what he said.
He brushed it off.
"... Never mind lah!! I already put them at the CC. You want to see them you go down lah."
How do you expect me to respect people who do not have respect for me?
