My breakfast.
A pair of rats. Lucky charms we got from the day before at Kannon.

Dan's breakfast.

It rained in the morning! My rabbit umbrella is put to good use! It was so so so so cold! Dan had to get me another pair of leggings before we board the express train!

Odakyu Train

Public toilet can look this good.
Time to get on board the train!

My favourite Vivienne Westwood leggings!! Thanks ah Dan!!!! :D:D:D

We ordered food from her!

Say that this is cute!!! Light lunch onboard.

Nice rainy view.

Friendly bag hook.

My Train bento consists of curry rice + tempura and spaghetti with meatball.

We had to switch to this mountain tram uphill.

It's super cold when we alighted from the tram ride.

Lots of obasans out on a trip to Hakone too!

This is Gora. The terminal station of the tram ride.

Then we have to take this ropeway tram uphill.

And finally, the cable car ride!!!!
The whole capsule is for us! It's so big that it can accomodate 18 pax.

Woah..

UFO catcher!! Must play! And I managed to whip one Hello Kitty up! Dan claimed that it was a freak accident that I got it. Ugh. (I got it by its tag)

Dan's lunch.

My lunch. Curry rice! Yes yes, I know it doesn't look appetizing from this picture but I tell you, you are so wrong in deducing that it's sucky!!

Rich savory curry...

My volcano egg. It's actually steamed by the sulfuric gases of the volcano atop Hakone.

Look look!!! Toing toing egg! Very fresh!

Food display.

Owakudani Sky Restaurant.

Black egg capsule.

Ah Dan so li hai, 'powerful', cos he only wore just a Tee. I was wrapped in 2 jackets!

Why does it look like he's peeing?

We got a small sized sweet potato at this stall!

Wrapped in newspaper!

Keeps our hands warm.

Back to the cablecar downhill!

Then switch to a ferry ride to the interchange.
It was a pity that we didn't get to view Mt Fuji onboard the ferry. :(

Yes, very odd indeed.

But it tastes goooooood! Very soft and sweet and not too dry!

View of Lake Ashi is maginificent.

The (bus and ferry) interchange.

Hop on a bus to Yunnessun!!! A spa/spring water bath resort!

Q at the counter.

Bath filled with Jasmine and flower petals.

It just makes you want to go for it, eh?

I persuaded (forced) Dan to go on this slide.

This wristband acts as the locker key/food credits which you pay off when you leave Yunnessun.

Yum yum!

Took a bus back to the interchange and from there take the train back to Shinjuku. Motion sickness all the way!

This is a picture of the mountain tram.

My ring blings even more after contact with the hot spring water!
Taking the express train back to Shinjuku.

Our Hakone Pass, fully used.

Let's have Yoshinoya for dinner!!!

Totally different taste. Prefer local salty flavor.
And with that, we had a very good sleep at night. The hot spring bath was fantastic! My skin felt smoother for a few days!
