My Samsung monitor died on us yesterday. Kun came over and he managed to let it work for a few hours and then it went R.I.P.
Even our Mr Fix-it-all gave up. Shopping for a new monitor was inevitable.
We decided on a Acer P193w as the price was rather okay.

Dan bought lots of things for me while he was at Taiwan. Everywhere he goes, he's sure to buy something from that area.
Jenna said that Dan's so sweet to me and "what are you going to do without him?"
Well, I seriously can't imagine. And yes, I cherish him lots even though someone (dan's ai ren) wants to say 'then you better stop bullying him!'.

He got me skirts, shorts, Tees, My Melody plushies and towel, 4 hair bands, 7 pairs of leggings and lots of goodies.

I remember we met up with Kun on Labour Day for a meal at Swensen's. And as usual he paid the bill before Dan could. And then we had to go back earlier for a dinner at Koo Kee Dumpling House for Mothers' Day. We had wanted to split the bill with my elder brother but it turns out that my father settled it and told us "you all buy your own gifts for Mother". What the. . ..
Dan and I walked around the malls and purchased a box of Bio Essence products. It contains a lip gloss and a bottle of face lifting cream. I hope she's using it. We also got a sample of their moisturizer for me to use. It's doing good to my face. More on these at a later time.
My elder brother and his wife got her a necklace. I do not think that it suits my mother. It's too modern and chic-looking. Of course I didn't say that out loud.
And on 2nd May, the box of Cherry Cullture cosmetics arrived when I was out! Like what Kun said "USPS=ultra slow parcel service?"
Grrrr.

I decided to make up with the new stuff on Saturday! Out with Kun and Dan for a movie at the newly opened Cathay at Downtown East. We wonder why are the tickets so expensive when there's nothing unique. Seats are just a bit more spacious, that's all. SGD10.50 per pax. And the Q was terribly slow. =( Think it's because they combined Ticketing and Popcorn together. People take their time choosing their seats/time and then take their own sweet time to decide what to eat.
Ironman was good! Though the ending's a bit not as quite as expected.
Grabbed light dinner at Swensen's at Whitesands and then went back to TM to play the UFO machine..... Kun grabbed one toy on his 2nd try and Dan grabbed one at his first attempt. :D We spent the remaining 30 odd dollars on it to grab another 2 more. LOL. Sadly, we ran out of 1 dollar coins and we went home with Kun having 2 toys and me, one. I named it 'Bai Mian Bao', White Bread.

I don't know what I was drawing on my face. Wanted a nude look but ended up looking like something else.
Pearl Mink eyeshadow + 'Glow' blusher which is too red for a nude look + 'nude' lipstick which also looks more of red + black/brown mascara. Eyeshadow looks beige/sandy in pictures but it's almost like nothing when I look into the mirror.
Never mind la, as long look okay can liao. Bwahahhaha.

I personally like the pressed powder I got from Cherry. Gives a clear matte finish. I like.
