I emailed them a long one stating that their beauticians were not attentive and my face end up worse than before. The reply I got from them was patronizing. (Even my name she also misspelled it) I felt very helpless and frustrated and I left things as they were. They did not give me compensation when I had asked for it.
It's been the 8th treatment and yet I still see hair growing. I was told that I would see results by the 5th or 6th treatment and that I will be just in time to be a bride with hairless armpits. For your information, my wedding is in June and the reason why I chose Jean Yip was its reliability back then. Jean Yip has even appeared on the TV advertising its services! I was overwhelmed by it and I had felt lucky that one of your branches is easily accessible from my place. It's true that I have seen visible results since the 4th treatment, but it has stopped right there! I do not see any improvements from the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th sessions! Previously, I had a very unpleasant incident at Jean Yip's facial services and that left my confidence in your company drop to a total zero. I still did not get any compensation for my face and I was told to UPGRADE my package instead. Not only did my face turned worse, I also had to fork out more money just to salvage it?! I find that this is totally ridiculous! And this upgrade of package was suggested only when I had told them that my face had turned worse than before! I seriously doubt the attentiveness of your staff. My face was turning from bad to worse and no one told me anything. I went home and after using the cleanser (strongly recommended by your staff) just once, my face turned very red and itchy! I had to take the suggested upgrade back then since my fiance and I were both panicking for the degenerating condition of my face. I had only went for 2 sessions and I stopped going back as I did not see any improvement. With utterly no more confidence in Jean Yip, I have switched to another beauty salon which specialized in facial services and the service there was a much more comfortable one. My face condition has really improved tremendously, though my face bears the scars of poor treatment at your branch. I had made a long feedback to Jean Yip previously but the only reply I got from your company was a patronizing one. It stated that Jean Yip would cultivate its staff and that's it, quoted as below;-
We are very sorry for such incident that has happened and sincerely apologised for the matter. We will seriously looked into the matter and investigate and ensure such incident will not happen, again. Thank you for your feedback. Thanks & Best Regards,
What I want to know is that there will be a form of compensation! A patronizing reply does not help for anyone, especially when the intended recipient is a bride-to-be who had trusted your services. The point of this email is, I was told by your staff that the treatments will work but they did not. I am not going to be coaxed to sign another 10 sessions of IPL underarm as we have poured in lots of redundant money (more than 3k) into your company. If by the end of the 10th session I still see hair growing as much as before, I will then know that Jean Yip is about talk. This is a modern era where information and feedback can be easily obtained via the Internet. I will blog about all these unpleasant experiences on my site and most of my friends have been warned not to use Jean Yip's facial and hair services. Jean Yip has to do something to regain the trust of this many people.
Adelin Lok I am really curious to see what is her reply. If it's the same patronizing reply, I'll definitely make this to the forums.
